Bio

My name is Bonita (Bonnie) Wilder and I teach music at 3 schools in Talladega County (Childersburg Elementary, A. H. Watwood Elementary, and Childersburg Middle School). I'm at CMS each Monday, CES each Tuesday, and at WES from Wednesday through Friday. Aside from my classroom duties, I work with 3 choirs and 2 recorder classes. I love the chance to work with so many different students but I regret that I only get them for short periods of time.
I am married to a retired United Methodist preacher, Warren Wilder, who is often seen helping me in the classroom. We have 3 grown sons, Joshua, Andrew, and Peter.  Our oldest son, Joshua, and his wife, Dee, spent a week on a mission trip in India this summer. Our middle son, Andrew, and his wife, Laura are expecting our first grandchild in December.  Our youngest son, Peter, lives in North Alabama where he teaches music at both Deshler High and Middle schools.
I did my Undergraduate at the University of North Alabama in Florence and my Masters at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. I am certified in both music and elementary education. I've been teaching for about 31 years. I've taught in Alabama, Georgia, and Kentucky.
